Levitskaya (1931-2009), an outstanding specialist in Turkic linguistics,
comparative grammar of Turkic languages, Turkic etymology, historical
phonetics and morphology of Chuvash language, the author of Historical morphology of Chuvash , passed away on Friday,
02 October 2009.
